CASE STUDY: Liverpool Gin Distillery
The new venue features two bars - the basement dark spirits lounge and the ground floor gin and spirits bar with the distinctive 600-litre working copper still. The upper floors consist of the three purpose made 'labs' that offer customers to make their own gin, Each fitted with miniature copper stills and work tables. All floors The multi-faceted vision behind Castle Street’s newest venue really allowed us to be creative with the use of space, the décor and the functionality of the Grade II listed building. The building calls for the venue to be modern and sophisticated with the concept to receive botanical and industrial element to it. To reflect both these components and emphasis the spirits and the manufacturing process that it involves, we have used exposed metals such as copper, alongside foliage and natural materials to try and find that balance.
